## Methodology

- **VC Score (0–100)**: Weighted composite of six dimensions. Calculated from public filings, press coverage, product signals, team signals, and growth metrics. Not a financial recommendation.
- **DNA Match**: Cosine similarity across three specialised 3072-dim embeddings (Business DNA, Tech DNA, Organization DNA) generated via Google Gemini. Used for peer benchmarking.
- **Mental-model tags**: News articles are tagged against a ten-segment AI industry framework (foundation models, agents, coding/devtools, infrastructure, data, vertical healthcare, vertical legal, vertical finance, multimodal media, robotics) with cross-segment substrate connections.
