Value proposition
Transfers high-level autonomous driving perception and decision-making logic to consumer robotics, enabling robots to transition from static indoor assistants to dynamic outdoor companions.
Products and solutions
Embodied AI 'Brain' (Architecture for perception, cognition, and decision-making), Outdoor Companion Robot (Prototype features terrain recognition and soccer-playing capabilities), Emotional Interaction System (Capable of situational awareness and 'affectionate' responses), Autonomous Relationship Learning Module (AI that learns family dynamics and user preferences)
Unique value
Focuses on 'Situational Awareness and Contextual Understanding' (态势感知与情境理解) rather than just programmed tasks, allowing the robot to exhibit emotional intelligence and autonomous learning of family relationships.
Target customer
Families, outdoor enthusiasts, and tech-savvy consumers seeking intelligent companionship and assistance in complex, non-structured environments.
Industries served
Consumer Robotics, Embodied AI, Outdoor & Lifestyle Technology, Personal & Family Services
Technology advantage
Led by autonomous driving veterans, the company leverages advanced computer vision and LLM-based reasoning to solve the 'outdoor complexity' problem (lighting, uneven terrain, and dynamic obstacles) that limits current consumer robots.
How they differentiate
Shentingji specializes in 'Situational Awareness and Contextual Understanding' (态势感知与情境理解) for outdoor environments. Unlike competitors focused on indoor home tasks or 'AI toys' (like Luo Bo), Shentingji utilizes a unique double-wheel-leg (双轮足) morphology and embodied AI 'brains' designed for complex terrain navigation and multi-modal emotional empathy.
Main competitors
Luo Bo Intelligent (珞博智能), Liang Yuan Xin Chuang (亮源新创), Le Xiang Technology (乐享科技), Unitree (宇树科技)
Key partnerships
BlueRun Ventures (Lead Angel Investor), Black Sesame Technologies (Strategic Investor & AI Chip Collaboration), SoftStone (Investment Partner), Particle Future (Investment Partner)
Notable customers
Research Institutes (Pre-commercial/R&D phase), Early Adopters/Tech Enthusiasts (Targeted for 2026)
Major milestones
Founded in Suzhou in April 2024 by Drive.ai co-founder Wang Tao., Completed Seed+ round of financing in July 2025., Completed a 100 million RMB Angel round led by BlueRun Ventures in December 2025., Planned mass production of first outdoor companion robot in H2 2026.
Growth metrics
Rapidly expanded from founding to a multi-million dollar funding status within 18 months; R&D team size estimated at 10-50 employees; successful prototype testing of terrain recognition and soccer-playing interaction.
Market positioning
High-end consumer-grade embodied AI challenger focusing on the outdoor companion robotics niche.
Geographic focus
Headquartered in Suzhou, China; targeting the domestic high-end consumer market with a global expansion vision leveraging Silicon Valley-trained leadership.
Patents and IP
Disclosed patent applications include 'Emotional Output Technology' and 'Autonomous Learning of Family Personnel Relationships.'
About Wang Tao (Tao Wang)
