On May 13, during the Create2026 Baidu AI Developer Conference, Baidu Intelligent Cloud announced a strategic partnership with Parcini Perception Technology (帕西尼感知科技), a Chinese embodied AI unicorn. The collaboration will focus on full-modal data (including high-degree-of-freedom and high-dimensional tactile sensing), model training, compute infrastructure, and industry ecosystem co-building to accelerate the transition of embodied AI from lab validation to real-world industrial deployment.
This partnership signals the deepening integration between cloud hyperscalers and embodied AI startups, a pattern we've seen in foundation models now extending to physical AI. Parcini, known for its Hall-effect tactile sensor technology and an all-chain product line spanning tactile data, dexterous hands, and humanoid robots, claims a production capacity of nearly 10 billion high-quality full-modal data points across five regional factories. Baidu Cloud provides the compute backbone — including high-performance GPU clusters and data engineering tools — to train Parcini's OmniVTLA full-modal large model more efficiently. As the leading Chinese public cloud provider for AI with a 35% market share (per Omdia), Baidu Cloud already supports over 30 embodied AI companies and multiple municipal innovation centers.
