Xieyue Intelligence Raises Angel+ Funding for Embodied AI and Home Robotics
Beijing-based Xieyue Intelligence has raised an angel-plus round worth hundreds of millions of RMB from investors including Linear Capital, Junshan Capital, Hongyi Capital and Yinshan Capital. Founded in February 2026 by former Li Auto AI chief scientist Chen Wei and former product-line president Zhang Xiao, the company is developing embodied foundation models, data infrastructure and a family-oriented robot platform.
The company is positioning the home as both a training environment and a eventual deployment market for embodied AI. Its proposed Duplex Reasoning approach combines a vision-language-action backbone with world-model prediction, while allowing human instructions, environmental feedback and safety signals to revise a robot's actions during execution. Xieyue says it has begun building proprietary first-person data-collection hardware and a platform spanning egocentric, embodiment-independent and robot-linked data.
For builders, the near-term test is not a broad household launch but whether a single robot body can reliably complete repeatable, long-horizon tasks such as laundry, organization and cleaning. Xieyue plans to validate cross-space generalization, task-completion rates and unit economics first in semi-structured settings including hotels and nursing homes. Investors should watch whether its data pipeline can turn those deployments into a defensible feedback loop before the capital-intensive transition to home-scale robotics.
