Pluvo raised $5M in seed funding led by a16z speedrun to build an AI decision intelligence platform for CFOs and FP&A teams, selected from 19,000+ applicants. The Ottawa-based startup deploys agentic AI that analyzes financial models, evaluates forecasts, and delivers model-grounded insights in minutes—operating at the decision layer rather than just data reporting. Notably, several CFO customers participated as investors, signaling strong market validation. This reflects a broader shift toward agentic AI in enterprise finance, where AI augments strategic decision-making rather than replacing finance teams. The platform builds institutional memory by capturing decision reasoning over time.
