SORACOM launches Knowledge MCP Server for AI agent access to official documentation

SORACOM (ソラコム), the Japanese IoT platform provider, has launched a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server called SORACOM Knowledge MCP Server, enabling AI agents to search and reference official SORACOM documentation. The server, available since July 7, 2026, requires no account registration or software installation — users simply register the public endpoint URL (https://knowledge-mcp.soracom.com) with MCP-compatible AI clients like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. It uses hybrid search combining keyword and semantic matching, returning page content in Markdown format for AI readability. The service is free and covers SORACOM's publicly available Japanese and English documentation, including user guides, API references, CLI commands, and pricing information.
