AiMOGA plans global Mobo pre-orders as Chery robotics brand enters homes
AiMOGA Robotics, a Chery Group robotics brand, says it will launch its Mobo home companion robot and open global pre-orders during the EXEED International User Summit in Wuhu, China, October 18–23. According to the company announcement distributed by Plentisoft, Mobo uses its proprietary MoAgent AI system for instruction decomposition and long-horizon task planning. Claimed capabilities include autonomous navigation, dynamic obstacle avoidance, voice and visual interaction, object identification, and memory of family members' preferences. Its motion system has 22 degrees of freedom.
The launch extends AiMOGA's commercial-service robotics business into consumer companionship, placing it in the Chinese consumer-oriented branch of physical AI. Its proposed advantage is the transfer of automotive perception technology, engineering experience, and supply-chain capabilities into robotics. AiMOGA reports more than 3,000 cumulative global robot deliveries across its portfolio, with regular operations in more than 100 use cases. Those figures describe the broader business; they do not establish demand for Mobo or validate its performance inside homes.
For builders and investors, the concrete question is whether automotive manufacturing experience translates into reliable household operation and viable support economics. The announcement provides no price, shipment schedule, battery-life specification, or independent evidence of long-horizon task completion. Pre-orders could offer an initial demand signal, but evaluating the home business will require delivery results and evidence that navigation, interaction, and preference memory work consistently beyond summit demonstrations.
