Baidu Dazi's Enterprise Push: Developer Platform, Mobile App, and a 9x Usage Surge
The AMW Read
Extends Baidu's already-tracked agent-brand cadence (KuKu, Duozi) with an enterprise app and dev platform for Dazi, but self-reported growth multiples lack an absolute baseline, keeping impact sub-segment.
Baidu Dazi's Enterprise Push: Developer Platform, Mobile App, and a 9x Usage Surge
Baidu AI Cloud said at its Super Agent Conference in Shenzhen on September 20 that general-purpose agent product Dazi grew its user base 9-fold month-over-month, with deliverable demand up 4.3-fold and expert-suite usage up 7.3-fold. The company launched an enterprise mobile app with phone-to-PC task handoff, an agent development platform exposing an Agent API and Skill configuration across public cloud, dedicated VPC, and on-premises deployment, and an ecosystem co-creation program for third-party connectors and Skills. The enterprise edition adds project spaces, persistent project memory, and work handoff between team members, and now links specialized agents Miaoda, Famou, Hogee, and Shengsuan across more than 13 industry suites spanning legal, financial, automotive, government, education, and marketing use cases.
The launch extends a rapid string of Baidu agent-brand rollouts: the company's KuKu office agent passed 25 million monthly active users in August, and its Duozi agent shipped across Xiaodu's smart-home hardware lineup earlier this month. Rather than consolidating around one flagship, Baidu keeps stacking named agent products under a shared chip-cloud-model-agent stack. Per the AI Market Watch index, Baidu's news volume in our pipeline actually eased to 25 items in the past 90 days from 38 prior (coverage limited to pipeline-ingested sources), even as shipped agent surface area — enterprise apps, dev platforms, hardware APIs — keeps expanding faster than any single brand absorbs it.
For enterprise buyers evaluating Chinese agent platforms, the deployment flexibility (public cloud, dedicated VPC, on-premises) and the open Agent API are more durable signals than the self-reported usage multiples, which lack an absolute user count. Builders integrating with Baidu's ecosystem program should watch which of Dazi, KuKu, or Duozi becomes the lasting API surface, since Baidu has not indicated consolidation.
