DeepBrain AI extends AI Roleplay customer-simulation training from insurance agents to financial private banking and general sales
DeepBrain AI, a Seoul-based generative AI company, announced on September 9 that it is expanding AI Roleplay, a corporate sales-training solution introduced in June, to financial private banking (PB) advisors and general sales and sales organizations. In the tool, an AI system plays the customer role in a live conversation, configurable across trait types such as indifferent, distrustful, price-objecting, or technically demanding, with facial-expression and tone-of-voice emotion synthesis so responses vary rather than repeat scripted lines. Training participants receive real-time feedback on pacing and tone during the session, then a post-session breakdown of what worked and what needs improvement. Companies can customize the AI customer's profile and evaluation criteria against their own product catalog, customer segments, and best-practice scripts. DeepBrain AI said it plans to extend the tool further into retail, automotive, and telecom.
The move fits a broader shift in enterprise AI spend toward operating-function tools sold on consistency and coaching quality rather than general-purpose chat. Per the AI Market Watch index, DeepBrain AI has raised $55.8M since its 2016 founding (coverage limited to ~5,000 indexed companies, not a census). This is the company's second training-product move in under three months, following a SCORM-compliant AI interactive video tool in June, suggesting a deliberate enterprise-training line building alongside its core synthetic-avatar media business.
For builders and investors, the signal worth tracking is whether DeepBrain AI can convert its insurance-agent pilot into higher-budget financial PB and general sales contracts — a jump from a narrow compliance-driven vertical to broader enterprise training procurement that tests both product fit and go-to-market reach.
