Furl raises $10M seed to automate security remediation with agentic AI

Los Angeles-based Furl has closed a $10 million seed round led by Ten Eleven Ventures, with participation from Corey Thomas and Open Opportunity Fund. The company builds an agentic AI platform meant to close the gap between finding security vulnerabilities and actually fixing them for IT security teams. It integrates with existing security and IT tools to execute remediation steps autonomously rather than only raising tickets. The founding team includes veterans of Rapid7, Automox, and Censys. Proceeds are earmarked for faster product development, wider operating-system coverage, and deeper support for complex, multi-step fixes.

Security operations still split detection from remediation: scanners and orchestration tools surface risk, while humans own the high-friction last mile of patching, configuration, and sequenced changes. Furl’s pitch is that goal-driven agents can take that last mile—calling tools, applying fixes, and handling multi-step workflows inside the buyer’s existing stack. That puts the company in the enterprise-agent cohort, where production value depends on reliable actions under change-control and audit constraints, not on another alert dashboard. A $10M cybersecurity seed is early capital, but it shows investors are still funding specialized agents for ops workflows that horizontal copilots have not absorbed.

For builders and investors, the near-term test is whether autonomous remediation can broaden OS coverage and keep multi-step fixes auditable without expanding blast radius on production systems. Watch depth of integration with incumbent security tooling and whether enterprise buyers accept agent-executed remediations under their existing governance models.
