Hadrian raises $40M to expand continuous exposure monitoring and agentic penetration testing
Hadrian raised $40 million in a round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and Smartfin, with participation from HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures. The financing brings its total funding to $65 million. Founded by Rogier Fischer, Olivier Beg and Maurice Clin, the offensive security company will expand across EMEA and the US, grow its engineering and research teams, and further develop its agentic AI platform.
The investment places Hadrian in enterprise operations AI, where the commercial test is whether automation improves a specific workflow. Atlas continuously maps an organization's external attack surface and uses AI agents to assess which exposures are exploitable; Nova supplies on-demand agentic penetration testing. Shared context connects monitoring with deeper testing, potentially reducing repeated discovery work. Humans retain responsibility for objectives and key decisions while agents execute intervening tasks. That makes the relevant competitive question workflow integration and reliable execution, rather than the volume of vulnerability alerts generated.
For builders and investors, the concrete diligence task is to test whether that shared context produces faster, actionable remediation in customer environments. Hadrian claims ten times greater visibility into critical exposures, an 80 percent reduction in time to resolution, and fivefold ROI versus manual penetration testing; these are company-reported results, and the supplied report does not establish their methodology or independent validation. Reported customers include McKesson, NBC Universal and Amadeus, but purchasing decisions still require evidence of testing coverage, accuracy and operating cost.
