Ludo Robotics releases Ludi 0.2 robot intelligence model
Ludo Robotics, a Krafton subsidiary headquartered in Palo Alto, has introduced Ludi 0.2, a robotics AI system designed to interpret human intent and interact with people in physical environments. The company says the release advances capabilities including social interaction, memory, reasoning, gesture interpretation, tool coordination and physical movement. Its first version, Ludi 0.1, appeared in August 2026 and combined a vision-language model for reasoning and dialogue with specialized navigation and manipulation capabilities.
The release adds a company to watch in the market for embodied AI models. Ludo is pursuing a system that connects perception, conversation and physical action, a different challenge from performing a predefined task in a controlled setting. Krafton's background in simulation and real-time interaction informs that work. Krafton has also developed AI game characters with Nvidia that are designed to understand players in real time. The article does not provide independent tests of Ludi 0.2 or evidence of commercial deployment.
For builders and investors, a key question is whether the system can interpret gestures and adapt to feedback reliably when people and surroundings change. Evaluation should distinguish the capabilities Ludo attributes to the release from its stated goal of bringing perception, dialogue and action into one model. Evidence from real-world use would help assess where the technology can work beyond controlled demonstrations.
