Quantum Solutions Raises JPY 494M for Japan NVIDIA B300 AI Data Center

Quantum Solutions said payment has completed for roughly JPY 494 million (about $3.3 million) raised through a third-party allotment of new shares and its 16th stock acquisition rights, with Blackwell Cloud Co., Limited as the subscriber. The company plans to build a Japan-based AI data-center business offering GPU computing, AI infrastructure, and data-center services to corporate customers. About JPY 485 million of the new-share proceeds is earmarked for advance payments to secure manufacturing slots and supply for 32 GPU servers equipped with NVIDIA B300 GPUs.

The financing is small relative to global AI-infrastructure projects, but its use of proceeds is unusually concrete: it is directed first toward server allocation rather than a broad software launch. That puts Quantum Solutions in the domestic capacity-buildout race, where access to high-density GPU infrastructure can matter as much as the cloud services layered on top of it. The proposed service combines server deployment, data-center capacity, AI compute resources, and cloud-based AI solutions, positioning the company as a local infrastructure provider rather than a model developer.

For builders, the relevant question will be whether locally operated B300 capacity offers a procurement, deployment, or support advantage over international cloud alternatives once the facility is operational. For investors, the key execution milestones are securing the planned servers, completing the fit-out, and turning hardware availability into recurring utilization. Quantum Solutions said any additional proceeds from fully exercised warrants would be used for construction and equipment work, networking, storage, software, installation, and working capital, indicating that the initial equity payment covers only the first phase of the buildout.
