Rayon raises €10M Series A for AI and 3D interior design tools
Rayon, a browser-based drawing platform for interior designers, has raised €10 million in a Series A led by Partech, with Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp participating. The round brings its total funding to nearly €16 million. Rayon says the money will support product development and go-to-market expansion. Its existing AI tools convert scanned or photographed floor plans into editable drawings and generate design blocks from photographs. The company plans to add 3D tools and a broader set of AI capabilities in a V4 release expected before year-end.
The AI-market question is whether generated design work can remain useful after the first draft. Rayon's approach places AI in the drawing layer: plans, components and specifications can stay connected as designers revise a project. That positions it within the market for AI-assisted creative tools, where editable output may matter more to professional users than a finished image alone. The article describes Rayon's current conversion tools, but gives no evidence yet on the performance or adoption of its planned V4 features.
For builders, the practical test is how reliably a converted plan preserves walls, openings and zones as editable elements, and whether later drawing changes carry through to specifications. For investors, the Series A funds a clearer product test: whether AI and 3D features deepen use of Rayon's browser-based workflow among interior design teams. Those outcomes cannot be inferred from the funding round itself.
