TOKAI Communications (TOKAIコミュニケーションズ), a Japanese telecommunications and cloud services provider and AWS Premier Tier Service Partner, has signed a reseller agreement under the Anthropic Authorized Reseller Program for Amazon Bedrock. Starting July 1, 2026, the company will offer Claude on Amazon Bedrock to Japanese enterprises, bundling it with secure closed-network connectivity, environment construction, and ongoing operational support.

This deal exemplifies the hyperscaler-distribution moat in enterprise AI: Anthropic reaches Japanese enterprise buyers through AWS's existing partner channel, while TOKAI leverages its AWS Premier Tier status and owned network infrastructure to deliver Claude with the security and governance that risk-averse Japanese firms require.
