Tripo AI launches EdenLive for real-time generative rendering
Tripo AI has released EdenLive, a generative renderer for interactive experiences, as part of its Project Eden world model. The company says it transforms rough visuals from game engines or coding agents into detailed video. It released 5B and 14B model weights, real-time video generation code, and a prompt-to-game frontend. The code is available under the Apache 2.0 license.
EdenLive separates scene behavior from visual appearance: an engine or agent can determine how a scene changes while the renderer generates its look. That places Tripo AI in the generative media market for interactive production, where creators can test different appearances without changing a scene's layout, motion, or camera path. The company reports that its 5B model generated 720p video at more than 24 frames per second on a single Nvidia RTX 5090 in its experiments. That is a company-reported result, not an independent comparison.
For builders, the release offers a way to test generative rendering in game previews, animation previews, and video restyling. EdenLive accepts a scene or reference video, a target first frame, and a text prompt. It supports streaming generation for interactive use and an offline mode for existing sequences. Tripo AI says it can generate continuously for several minutes, but the report does not establish how well the output holds up across production workflows.
