Incremental product expansion by an established player; the agent-building tool and standalone receptionist are incremental updates to Zoom's existing CX portfolio, not a new entrant or structural shift.
Zoom Communications has launched 'Agent Architect,' a tool that lets users create production-ready voice and digital AI agents via simple prompts, alongside a standalone 'Zoom Virtual Agent Receptionist' service now available as a separate product. The receptionist plan starts at ¥4,739/month (~$31) for 100 minutes. The company also introduced an Agent Performance Suite for pre-deployment simulation, resolution tracking, and cost-per-resolution analysis, plus Quality Management for evaluating AI and human interactions under a common framework. A 'Customer Context Layer' is being enhanced to share conversational context across Zoom CX products, and the company is introducing outcome-based pricing tied to resolved or routed interactions.
