Hyderabad-based venture capital firm Pavestone VC has invested $5 million (about Rs 46.6 crore) in deep-tech startup Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence. Founded in 2023, Tsavorite is building a full-stack AI compute platform spanning edge, enterprise, and data center environments, with a key differentiator being its Omni Processing Unit (OPU) — a chip architecture that integrates CPU, GPU, memory, and connectivity into a single system to reduce data movement and improve performance. The startup claims up to 10x higher arithmetic intensity and enhanced power efficiency. Tsavorite also offers an integrated software layer, the Agentic Operating Stack (TAOS), enabling developers to deploy AI models without rewriting code.
