Comp AI raises $34M Series A after 15x ARR growth and 1,000 customers
The AMW Read
Incremental Series A update for a newly covered compliance-automation vendor; $34M is sub-segment capital and conflicts with yesterday’s $15.7M account of the same round.
Comp AI raises $34M Series A after 15x ARR growth and 1,000 customers
Aventura, Florida-based Comp AI raised $34 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered continuous compliance and cybersecurity automation platform for software companies. The company says it has surpassed 1,000 customers with 15-fold year-over-year ARR growth and plans to use the capital to add jobs in South Florida.
The deal sits in the enterprise ops lane where AI compresses audit and control work—evidence collection, policy upkeep, continuous monitoring—sold against security and GRC budgets rather than legal-practice seats. That is a different buyer than BigLaw copilots: software firms buy to cut consultant hours and stay continuously audit-ready as frameworks multiply. Capital at this scale is still routine for the category, but the claimed customer and ARR multiples, if durable, mark Comp AI as a visible new name on the compliance-automation map. Per the AI Market Watch index, Comp AI logged one pipeline item in the last 90 days against zero in the prior window, name-matched over ingested sources only. That reading is complicated by yesterday’s AMW coverage of a $15.7 million Series A for the same company around AI-agent SOC 2 and evidence automation—so today’s $34 million figure either revises the round or conflicts with another publisher’s account of the same raise.
For builders and investors, the near-term diligence item is reconciling the reported Series A size before modeling ownership or runway, then testing whether continuous-compliance ARR holds after the audit season rather than treating agent demos as the product. Distribution will hinge on proving faster evidence loops against incumbent GRC suites, not on frontier-model novelty.
