Cyera Raises $400M to Expand AI-Agent Security at $12B+ Valuation
Cyera has raised a further $400 million from Goldman Sachs Alternatives in an extension of its Series G, retaining a valuation above $12 billion. The Israeli cybersecurity company said the capital will support AI security product development, U.S. federal expansion, and growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. The round follows $600 million raised three months earlier and brings Cyera's 2026 fundraising to $1.4 billion, according to the company.
The financing reflects a widening enterprise security problem: autonomous agents can use corporate identities, invoke tools, query databases, and reach sensitive information without a human approving every step. Cyera is positioning its platform around the connection between data discovery and access control. Its Agent Guardian and Endpoint products track agent behavior, while its acquisition of Oasis Security added non-human identity management. That deal, covered by AI Market Watch in July, now looks central to the company's effort to secure the identities agents use as well as the data they can reach.
For builders, the implication is that agent deployment increasingly requires auditable controls over tool calls, database access, and machine identities, not just model-level safeguards. For investors, Cyera's valuation and funding pace indicate that AI security is being financed as a major enterprise category; the key test will be whether spending converts into durable platform adoption rather than point-product budgets. Cyera is tracked with $2.3 billion in total funding per the AI Market Watch index, which covers roughly 5,000 companies rather than a market census.
