ElevenLabs secures $11B valuation in $500M Series D led by Sequoia Capital
London-based AI voice startup ElevenLabs has raised $500 million in Series D funding led by Sequoia Capital, at an $11 billion valuation — more than tripling its $3.3 billion valuation from January 2025. The round included new investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and Evantic Capital, alongside existing backers Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ. The company generated over $330 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025 and is targeting doubling that figure in 2026.
This raise cements ElevenLabs as the dominant independent voice AI platform, outpacing most vertical AI application companies in both valuation and revenue velocity. The funding will fuel international expansion and continued research into emotional conversational models and dubbing. CEO Mati Staniszewski stated the company plans to expand its Creative offering to enable businesses to build agents that can talk, type, and take action, signaling a push beyond pure text-to-speech into multimodal AI agent territory.
The scale of this round — at $500 million with an $11 billion valuation — makes ElevenLabs one of the highest-valued AI voice startups globally. Its revenue trajectory ($330M ARR in under four years since founding) places it among the fastest-growing AI application companies, approaching the ARR ramp pattern previously seen only in frontier-model labs and code-generation tools. The company also benefits from viral adoption via the OpenClaw ecosystem, where users integrate its voice models into self-hosted personal AI agents, creating a grassroots distribution channel that complements enterprise sales.
