Runable Raises $21M Series A for Small-Business AI Agents
Indian AI-agent platform Runable has raised a $21 million all-equity Series A co-led by Nexus Venture Partners and Susquehanna Venture Capital. Together Fund and Array VC also participated in the round. Runable says its platform uses shared context and memory to help small businesses build, operate, and grow products through automated development, operations, and customer-acquisition workflows.
The financing places Runable in the market for agentic systems that aim to span multiple business tasks rather than address a single workflow. Its product claim rests on carrying context across development, operating, and growth activities, a requirement that becomes more consequential when an automated system is expected to support interconnected business work. The round is a vote of confidence in applying that approach to smaller businesses, where a single platform may need to serve teams with limited specialist capacity.
For builders, the practical test is whether shared context improves execution across distinct workflows without creating unreliable handoffs or losing user control. For investors, Runable's progress will be measured less by the breadth of its automation promise than by evidence that small businesses adopt and retain it across development, operations, and customer acquisition. The new capital gives the company room to expand that proposition, but the article provides no operating or customer metrics yet.
