Korea Deep Learning tests automated short-form ad production with SK Telecom
Korea Deep Learning said on October 22 that it is piloting its Deep Agent system in SK Telecom's advertising and commerce content environment through the Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation's 2026 open innovation challenge. A vision-language model extracts product names, prices and images from shopping pages to support advertising copy and scene composition. The system then checks outputs against the original product information, text readability and missing images, routing results that fail its criteria back for revision. In an interim test, it produced 12-second videos from 11st product pages across women's apparel, food and beverages, and toys.
The market significance is the connection between media generation and an agent workflow that checks results and initiates revisions. Korea Deep Learning says the test ran from information collection through final video output without human intervention. That makes this an enterprise-agent deployment experiment as well as a generative-media use case. It also extends Deep Agent beyond the financial and public-sector document processing where the company says it has primarily applied the technology. The reported demonstration establishes a bounded workflow; the source provides no production-scale reliability or cost measurements.
For builders and investors, the concrete diligence question is whether automated checking catches incorrect prices, mismatched images and unreadable copy consistently enough for advertising operations. Measuring correction rates and human review requirements would help establish the commercial value of this workflow. The company plans to support more shopping sites and improve its checking system, but the pilot does not yet establish repeatable deployment economics.
