Meshy reaches $100M ARR as AI 3D generation expands into production workflows
The AMW Read
Reported $100M ARR meaningfully raises the commercial baseline for specialized 3D generation, while production integrations show segment-level adoption without proving durable margins or retention.
Meshy reaches $100M ARR as AI 3D generation expands into production workflows
Meshy has reached $100 million in annual recurring revenue, up from $1 million less than two years earlier, according to PingWest. The report places ARR at $15 million last November, $30 million in March and more than $40 million in April. Registered users now exceed 15 million. Its September release, Meshy 7.1, added an Ultra 4K mode that incorporates fine surface details into model geometry, a distinction that matters for 3D printing because texture-only details do not produce physical relief.
The milestone strengthens the commercial case for specialized generative media tools embedded in production. Meshy sells subscriptions and API access for work that previously required substantial modeling labor, while integrations with Blender, Unity, Unreal and printing software put generation inside existing workflows. Bambu's MakerWorld integrated Meshy 6 into MakerLab in March, and Thorns Tavern uses its API for custom printable miniatures. These channels let Meshy reach customers through other products. They also suggest that general-purpose agents can distribute specialized models by calling them as tools, although the report does not establish how much revenue comes from those integrations.
For builders and investors, the next test is repeat production usage and asset readiness. Meshy reports faster modeling at customers, but ARR alone does not establish retention, margins or how much cleanup generated assets require. Teams evaluating the platform should measure usable output per dollar and downstream editing time. Its Mora 1 architecture combines coding agents, 3D generation and real-time video to create interactive worlds, but remains a research demonstration with unresolved latency and gameplay-quality questions; the reported revenue milestone belongs to the existing 3D business.
