Instinct, operated by Spear Street Technology and led by founder Noah Shinn, said it raised $250 million in a Series B co-led by Index Ventures and Benchmark. The financing brings its total funding to $350 million and values the private-beta company at $2.5 billion. Instinct connects with users' apps and devices, then communicates through texts and calls to help organize tasks such as travel planning, grocery purchases, ticket buying, subscription cancellations, and wedding planning.
The round is a major capital commitment to the personal-agent proposition: software that moves beyond answering questions to coordinating across a user's digital services. That ambition depends on broad permissions and reliable execution across apps, making user trust as important as the agent interface itself.
