Enhance secures 2 billion won from POSCO DX for enterprise AI agent deployment

POSCO DX announced a 2 billion won investment in Enhance, developer of the enterprise platform Agent OS, alongside a cooperation agreement to build AI agents specialized in executing business tasks. The investment came through a corporate venture fund jointly established with POSCO Technology Investment. The partners plan to use Enhance's ontology technology to structure data dispersed across enterprise systems and incorporate experienced workers' knowledge, including exception handling and decision criteria that are difficult to document.

The agreement places Enhance in the enterprise-agent market, where connecting software actions to company-specific knowledge is a central implementation challenge. POSCO Group previously applied Agent OS to office workflows and, according to the report, verified its effectiveness; no quantified results were disclosed. Financial profitability analysis is among the applications under consideration, with production, equipment and logistics identified as planned expansion areas. The partnership gives Enhance an industrial implementation channel, while POSCO DX contributes domain expertise toward steel and logistics solutions. Its commercial importance depends on whether that combination produces repeatable deployments beyond the initial office use cases.

For builders and investors, the concrete diligence question is how reliably the system handles exceptions when moving from office tasks into industrial workflows. Capturing tacit knowledge could make agents more useful, but this announcement does not establish execution accuracy, deployment costs or customer revenue. Evidence to watch is whether the proposed applications become operational deployments with measured outcomes and whether the integration work can be reused across customers.
