RapidCanvas raises $29M to expand enterprise AI delivery and partner distribution
RapidCanvas raised a $29 million Series B led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, bringing total funding to $52.5 million. Hitachi Ventures joined existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures. Proceeds will support go-to-market expansion, private equity and advisory partnerships, and field AI engineering teams across India, the US and Brazil. Product investment will deepen its Enterprise Context Engine, expand the skills library behind its Visual Development Canvas and strengthen governance in its Operational Harness.
The financing backs an enterprise AI delivery model that combines human expertise with an agentic platform. Its market relevance lies in the work between building an initial solution and operating it reliably: enterprise context, implementation and governance. RapidCanvas says annual recurring revenue grew eightfold over six quarters and more than 40% of customers now run multiple AI use cases in production. Those company-reported figures suggest expanding deployment, but the article provides no absolute revenue, retention or delivery-cost figures to establish the model's economics.
For investors, the concrete question is whether broader deployment makes delivery more repeatable as the engineering team grows. Revenue growth alone cannot establish that. Builders can read the spending priorities as a practical checklist for production delivery: reusable skills, enterprise context and operational controls. The planned expansion of private equity and advisory relationships also makes partner distribution a specific channel to assess alongside direct sales.
