Reach Security raises over $50M to expand security configuration analysis
Reach Security announced a Series B exceeding $50 million, led by Top Tier Capital Partners, with participation from Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Microsoft's M12 and existing investors. The company plans to fund product development, partnerships, international expansion and growth in U.S. enterprise and federal markets. It also introduced Reach Everywhere, which distributes its security findings through APIs, an MCP server and technology integrations.
Reach targets an enterprise operations problem: determining whether security products already deployed actually block particular attack paths. Its AI reads live configurations, identifies the rules behind its conclusions and supports remediation. Changes deemed safe can proceed through ServiceNow, Jira or Reach's staged automation, with validation in a controlled environment before production. The market relevance is the connection between analysis and operational execution. Reach Everywhere extends that approach into SOC, incident-response and compliance workflows, making existing tools a distribution surface for its findings.
For builders and investors, the concrete diligence question is whether configuration findings reliably become validated fixes. Reach says its customer base doubled over the past 12 months and names Autodesk, Insurity, MPS and Ensemble Health Partners as users. Those disclosures indicate adoption, but the article provides no revenue, retention or remediation-outcome metrics. Evaluating the expansion therefore requires evidence of deployment depth and safe changes completed, alongside customer growth.
