The funding arrives at a pivotal moment in the AI industry's agentic turn. As enterprises rush to deploy AI agents for sales, customer service, and internal operations, the attack surface expands dramatically — yet dedicated agent-security tooling remains nascent. Tenet's simulation-based approach is an early bet on a pattern we call "context-engineering moat" (Segment 02, §5): the idea that the winning security vendor will be the one that deeply understands agentic workflows and runtime behavior, not just traditional network perimeters.
