Tel Aviv-based Catch emerged from stealth with a $5 million seed round co-led by Entrée Capital and Pitango, with participation from Seedcamp and Factorial Capital. Founded by CEO Nir Sabato and CTO Yoav Ramon, the startup builds an AI system that observes an executive's activities, builds a profile of who they work with and how they prefer to travel and meet, then independently handles scheduling, travel bookings, and email or Slack correspondence, looping in the executive only when a decision needs human judgment. The company says it has already scheduled more than 12,000 meetings, delegated over 20,000 tasks, and processed more than 200,000 emails.
Catch is explicitly positioning against the workflow-builder model common in agent tooling: no drag-and-drop automations, no approval on every step. It operates through existing channels — text, email, Slack, phone — rather than a separate interface, using what it calls "splinter agents," each restricted to a single task and given access only to the data that task requires. Ramon said the system anonymizes usage data to post-train open-source models via supervised and reinforcement learning, tying its differentiation to a data flywheel rather than a frontier-model API alone.
For investors, executive-admin automation is a narrower but concrete budget line — executive assistant and chief-of-staff spend — than open-ended agentic-workflow platforms, though it depends on trust in autonomous handling of calendar, email, and travel data, and on durable access to the email/Slack/phone channels it operates through. Builders in the personal-assistant-agent space should watch whether Catch's end-to-end ownership of the task beats products that layer onto existing coordination software.
