Imersa raises $50,000 in milestone-linked funding for AI sales copilot
Brazilian startup Imersa has secured a $50,000 first funding round from Flávio Szenkier at an approximate $750,000 valuation, according to LatamList. The package comprises $30,000 initially and $20,000 contingent on performance targets. Founded in 2023, Imersa develops an AI sales copilot that analyzes B2B sales conversations in real time, identifies customer objections, and provides feedback and training simulations. It plans to improve its technology, hire researchers, acquire B2B market data, relocate to São Paulo, and double its seven-person team. It also intends to seek another $100,000 from angels and venture funds.
Imersa belongs to the enterprise operations layer of AI: its proposed value comes from improving a specific sales workflow. Its earlier sales training and demand generation services reached more than 100 clients, giving the business prior exposure to the problems its software targets. That service history, however, does not establish adoption or revenue for the copilot. The market question is whether conversation analysis and coaching produce measurable improvements that customers will pay for repeatedly; the report provides no platform revenue, retention, or sales-performance results.
For investors, the concrete diligence priority is to separate service customers from paying software users and establish what performance targets unlock the remaining $20,000. The distinction matters because part of the announced financing remains conditional, while the company has outlined technology, data, hiring, and relocation spending. Evidence of repeat software usage and improved sales outcomes would help assess whether Imersa can turn its services experience into a durable product business.
