Value proposition
Democratizing space access by offering affordable, on-demand orbital processing (Space Cloud) and reducing satellite hardware mass through extreme miniaturization.
Products and solutions
MOI-1 (Mission Orbital Intelligence): The 'Space Cybercafe' platform for on-demand orbital AI tasks., MIRA: An indigenously developed, ultra-lightweight (502g) miniaturized space telescope., Space Cloud Services: Pay-per-use edge computing infrastructure in Low Earth Orbit (LEO)., AI-Integrated Optical Payloads: High-precision imaging systems with onboard real-time data processing.
Unique value
Introduced the 'Space Cybercafe' model, allowing users to rent satellite compute time for the cost of a cup of tea, effectively removing the high-cost barrier to orbital experimentation.
Target customer
Global researchers, students, AI developers, defense agencies, and commercial Earth observation companies.
Industries served
Space Technology, Defense & Aerospace, Education & Research, Earth Observation, Cloud Computing (Edge AI)
Technology advantage
Proprietary expertise in extreme miniaturization (developing India's lightest 502g space telescope) and orbital edge AI, which minimizes data downlink requirements by processing information directly in space.
How they differentiate
Extreme miniaturization (502g MIRA telescope) and the 'Space Cybercafe' model which offers pay-per-use orbital AI processing at consumer-level price points.
Main competitors
Loft Orbital, Spiral Blue, D-Orbit
Key partnerships
ISRO (Launch partner via PSLV-C62), TakeMe2Space (Mission collaboration for MOI-1), IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation (Incubation and R&D support), QL Space (Strategic partnership), HHV Advanced Technologies (Manufacturing/Technical partner)
Notable customers
Global AI Researchers, TakeMe2Space, Defense Agencies, Educational Institutions
Major milestones
Incubated at IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation (2022), Developed MIRA, India's lightest miniaturized space telescope (502g), Secured $1.2M Pre-Series A funding in August 2025, Launched MOI-1 'Space Cybercafe' mission via ISRO PSLV-C62 in January 2026
Growth metrics
Successfully transitioned from R&D to operational status with the launch of MOI-1 in January 2026.
Market positioning
Low-cost orbital edge computing and miniaturized payload provider for research and commercial Earth observation.
Geographic focus
India (Headquarters), Global (Research and AI developer community)
Patents and IP
Indigenous IP for the MIRA miniaturized telescope and proprietary orbital AI processing architecture (specific patent filings not publicly disclosed).
