Value proposition

Reduces the barrier to robotics adoption by replacing rigid programming with 'Physical AI' that understands verbal commands and adapts to unstructured environments in real-time.

Products and solutions

["MenteeBot: A full-scale humanoid hardware platform with 3D vision and agile locomotion.","Mentee Brain: An end-to-end neural network architecture for perception, reasoning, and motor control.","Sim2Real Training Pipeline: A proprietary simulation environment where robots learn millions of iterations before physical deployment.","Natural Language Interface: A generative AI layer allowing users to 'teach' the robot tasks via conversation."]

Unique value

Unlike traditional robots that rely on hard-coded heuristics, Mentee utilizes a 'Sim2Real' approach where the entire logic—from gait to object manipulation—is learned through AI, allowing for human-like adaptability.

Target customer

Industrial and logistics enterprises (warehousing), and eventually the premium consumer household market for domestic assistance.

Industries served

["Logistics & Warehousing","Manufacturing","Consumer Electronics/Home Automation","Healthcare Assistance"]

Technology advantage

Leverages the 'Physical AI' paradigm, combining Large Language Models (LLMs) for reasoning with advanced computer vision and reinforcement learning for movement, backed by the world-class computer vision expertise of Mobileye's founders.

How they differentiate

Mentee differentiates through 'Physical AI,' utilizing a Sim2Real pipeline where robots learn complex tasks in simulation before physical deployment. Unlike competitors relying on more rigid heuristics, Mentee integrates generative AI and LLMs to allow users to 'teach' the robot tasks via natural language and visual demonstration.

Main competitors

["Figure AI","Tesla (Optimus)","1X Technologies","Agility Robotics"]

Key partnerships

["Mobileye (Parent Company/Strategic Partner)","Samsung NEXT","Cisco Investments","Ahren Innovation Capital","Tel Aviv University (Academic Research Collaboration)"]

Notable customers

["Mobileye (Strategic Integration)","Industrial/Logistics pilot partners"]

Major milestones

["Founded in 2022 by Amnon Shashua and Lior Wolf","Emerged from stealth in April 2024 with the unveiling of the MenteeBot prototype","Successfully completed Series A funding in early 2025","Acquired by Mobileye for $900 million in January 2026 to lead their Physical AI division"]

Growth metrics

Rapidly scaled from stealth to a 70-100 person team within two years; achieved a $900M acquisition valuation within 4 years of founding.

Market positioning

High-end Physical AI and humanoid robotics pioneer targeting both industrial logistics and future domestic assistance.

Geographic focus

Global (Headquartered in Israel with primary market focus on North America and Europe)

Patents and IP

Proprietary IP focused on end-to-end learning for humanoid locomotion, Sim2Real domain adaptation, and real-time 3D scene mapping.
