Value proposition

Reduces the risk and cost of drug development by applying AI to high-quality, multimodal patient data while maintaining data privacy through federated learning, ultimately improving patient outcomes through precision medicine.

Products and solutions

["K Pro: An agentic AI co-pilot designed to assist biopharma researchers in biological reasoning and hypothesis generation.","MSIntuit™ RDI: An AI-powered digital pathology diagnostic for microsatellite instability (MSI) screening in colorectal cancer.","Owkin Connect: A secure federated learning platform that enables researchers to train models on decentralized data without moving it.","MOSAIC: A massive spatial omics database and atlas used for identifying new disease targets and biomarkers.","AI-Optimized Clinical Trials: Solutions for patient stratification and external control arms to increase trial success rates."]

Unique value

Owkin is a global leader in Federated Learning for healthcare, allowing them to train AI models on massive, siloed datasets from top-tier hospitals (the 'Owkin Loop') without compromising patient privacy or data security.

Target customer

Global biopharmaceutical companies, academic research hospitals, clinical research organizations (CROs), and diagnostic laboratories.

Industries served

["Biotechnology","Pharmaceuticals","Healthcare & Diagnostics","Oncology","Immunology","Cardiovascular Diseases"]

Technology advantage

Combines a proprietary global network of academic medical centers with 'Agentic AI' capabilities that can perform complex biological tasks, bridging the gap between dry-lab computational modeling and wet-lab clinical validation.

How they differentiate

Owkin differentiates through its 'Federated Learning' framework, which allows AI models to be trained on decentralized, private hospital data without moving it. Unlike competitors who build massive centralized data silos, Owkin’s 'Owkin Loop' provides access to high-quality, multimodal real-world data while maintaining strict patient privacy. Their recent pivot to 'Agentic AI' with K Pro further distinguishes them by automating complex biological reasoning.
