About Ángel Alberich-Bayarri
Ángel Alberich-Bayarri is the Founder and CEO of Quibim, a company at the forefront of AI-powered medical imaging analysis. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, he has an extensive background in medical image processing and machine learning, evidenced by over 100 scientific publications and 8 patents. Before founding Quibim in 2015, he worked as a Biomedical Engineer at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe. He is also a board member of Startup Valencia, where he co-founded the Health and Medtech committee, actively promoting the region's entrepreneurial ecosystem. His work has been recognized with the MIT Innovators Under 35 Award.
