Value proposition

Modernizes battlefield awareness by decoupling EW capabilities from expensive, proprietary hardware, allowing for rapid software updates and the conversion of standard radios into sophisticated signal intelligence tools.

Products and solutions

AI-Driven Spectrum Intelligence Engine, Software-Defined Electronic Warfare (EW) Suite, Automated Signal Detection & Classification Platform, Hardware-Agnostic Integration Layer for SDRs (Software Defined Radios)

Unique value

Unlike traditional EW solutions that rely on heavy, specialized hardware pods, Tenna is 'hardware-free,' meaning its AI can run on existing sensors and communication devices already deployed in the field.

Target customer

Department of Defense (DoD), international defense ministries, intelligence agencies, and military units operating in contested electromagnetic environments.

Industries served

Defense & National Security, Aerospace, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications (Spectrum Management)

Technology advantage

Utilizes proprietary AI models to process complex signal data at the edge, enabling real-time threat detection and jamming mitigation without the multi-year lead times and high costs associated with hardware procurement.

How they differentiate

Tenna Systems differentiates through a 'hardware-free' approach, utilizing proprietary AI to transform existing radio and sensor infrastructure into Electronic Warfare (EW) tools, whereas competitors often require proprietary, expensive hardware pods or platforms.

Main competitors

Anduril Industries, Helsing, EpiSci

Key partnerships

Costanoa Ventures (Lead Investor), Viola Ventures, Fresh Fund, 202 Ventures, Collaborations with defense technology integrators and military innovation units

Notable customers

U.S. Department of Defense (Target), International Defense Ministries, Intelligence Agencies

Major milestones

Founded as Tip & Cue Inc. in 2023, Rebranded to Tenna Systems to focus on AI-driven Electronic Warfare, Raised $13.5M oversubscribed Seed round in February 2025, Developed hardware-agnostic AI capable of running on standard Software Defined Radios (SDRs)

Growth metrics

Scaling engineering and deployment teams following a pivot and rebrand from Tip & Cue Inc.; oversubscribed seed round indicates high market demand.

Market positioning

Specialized software-defined defense-tech challenger focusing on spectrum intelligence and signal processing.

Geographic focus

United States, Israel, and NATO-aligned defense markets.

Patents and IP

Proprietary AI algorithms for signal processing and spectrum analysis (specific public patent filings not disclosed as of Feb 2025).
