About Max Brodeur-Urbas

Max Brodeur-Urbas is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gumloop (YC W24), a no-code AI agent platform. He has approximately seven years of engineering experience, including serving as a Software Engineer at Microsoft (September 2021 - September 2022) where he worked on CBL-Mariner, contributing to Azure Linux package integration, CVE remediation, and build script improvements. He was also a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft (summer 2020) and at Ericsson. At McGill University, he co-led the competitive programming club, serving as Co-President of the Student Society of Competitive Programmers (April 2019 - April 2021). Notably, he built the first UI for AutoGPT as a side project before founding Gumloop in May 2023 in Vancouver, before relocating the company to San Francisco in 2025.
