About Mohamed Elmasry

Mohamed Elmasry is a technology entrepreneur and engineer with over 20 years of experience in software engineering and product leadership. He began his career as a Design Engineer at Silicon Vision before spending over four years at ARM as a Senior Software Engineer, where he worked on high-performance computing technologies. In 2016, he co-founded Tactful AI, scaling it into a leading provider of AI-driven omnichannel customer engagement solutions in the MENA and European markets. Following the company's acquisition by the Belgian telecom giant Dstny Group in 2022, he served as VP of Product for Dstny's engagement tools. In July 2025, he led a successful founder-led buyback to regain full ownership and independence for Tactful AI, subsequently raising $1M in Pre-Series A funding in February 2026 to scale the company's Agentic CX platform.
