About Carla Gómez Cano

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering graduate with Master's in Taxation from UOC. Trained in Agile methodologies including Kanban and SCRUM for enhanced project management. Gained experience in development and commercial activity teams before co-founding THEKER Robotics in 2021 with JiaQiang Ye Zhu. Secured $21M seed funding - largest in Spanish history and among biggest in European robotics sector. Led by Kibo Ventures with participation from Inditex and Kfund. Named Best Entrepreneur of Catalunya by EAE Business School Barcelona (2024). Top 6 finalist in RIS LEADERS 2023 Competition by EIT Manufacturing.
